Daria Mark is the principal at Brown Couch Consulting. Daria’s unique ability to understand her clients’ needs and provide cost effective targeted solutions has earned her a loyal following. Most of Brown Couch Consulting clients who have built a website with Daria Mark stay on for additional services such as email marketing or website maintenance.
Prior to starting Brown Couch Consulting, Daria worked as an applications engineer, blending her technical expertise and background with customer relations, marketing and sales. From applications engineering, she seamlessly transitioned to a role as a project manager for civilian programs at a large defense company, working with cross functional teams of engineers, managers, and marketers.
Daria graduated Summa Cum Laude from Tufts University, completing a bachelor’s in Computer Engineering with a concentration in Multimedia Studies and a Master’s in Electrical Engineering with a concentration in Image Processing. She has worked with multimedia and web technologies for almost 10 years. Opening her own company and working with small business has allowed Daria to return to her passion – working elbow to elbow with entrepreneurs, inventors and business owners on improving their web presence and marketing reach.
Daria has been inducted to Eta Kappa Nu (the electrical and computer engineering honor society) and Tau Beta Pi (the engineering honor society). She is married and lives in Brookline, MA. In her spare time, she enjoys knitting, sewing and baking.
