Day Spa Magi - Email Marketing, Coupon Design, Web Presence
Coupons that we created for Day Spa Magi:
Day Spa Magi was a local day spa in Brookline, MA. Their marketing efforts were limited to their website (which was not optimized) and the foot traffic that would pass by their Coolidge Corner location. They were looking for a way to expand into digital marketing and hired Brown Couch Consulting to provide technical assistance.
Our first step was to convert their promotional emails to an email marketing service - they had been using their own email to send out mass mailings, which was a laborious process that didn't offer statistics on open rates, bounces or links followed. We imported their customer list to Constant Contact and created a custom template using design elements from their website for a consistent brand and image.
Once the email marketing service was established and working, we created a template for a coupon that could be easily modified on a monthly basis to advertise and promote their monthly specials (an advertising practice also suggested by Brown Couch Consulting: until we got involved, they had been doing only occasional spa week promotions). We created a special promotions page listing all of their service discounts, along with the monthly coupon.
To further expand the reach of their business and their promotions, we updated their Google Maps listing, adding coupons and promotions there monthly. Here is a snapshot of Google's graph showing the number of impressions their business listing received before and after Brown Couch updates:
As you can see, we were able to achieve a significant increase in the impressions their business was generating in local searches and thus creating more traffic to their website and more customers for their spa.
